I’m a Sophomore at Southern Utah University on the Cross Country and Track teams. Majoring in Accounting. Pine View High School 2017 grad. I love to run.

AM    30    30 easy. 3.3 miles After run my hamstring tightened up. Rolled it out when I went home and it just felt sore and tight and painful all day 
PM    45    My leg hurt real bad and it started to feel better when we started the workout and felt good through the middle then it tightened back up In the end. I didn't do the last repeat and I went 5.33 miles we did 1600,1200,1000, 800. I jogged for a sec and rolled out really a lot

PM        I was supposed to go to the dr but when I was almost there my mom called and told me then dr was sick. So I left and my dad told me to not run and I had to rest

AM    30    ac easy my leg felt alright 
PM    10    i ran a mile with Roberts really slow and it felt really good! My leg didn't hurt at all! 
other        I went to the dr to get a referral for this massage place. But he wanted to try this shot that loosens your muscle and I think it worked!!

75    9 miles total. Met with the girls at Sullivan and made a loop then striders     Oh my heck, that was honestly the best run of my life! I felt so good the whole time. My leg didn't even hurt one bit and we had a great pack!!

51    Time trial. 12:35 3rd overall. then workout 800, 400, 400    I felt really good! My legs felt really good and strong. I tried to stay on Meskerem and Rylee for as long as I could. I fell off going into the second lap. We didn't pack as well as last time. Good time trial, it was 10 seconds slower than last time, but I felt really solid

Am- 3 easy before we left

Pm- Got to the course and ran it, I was way nervous before we started, but I felt confident once we got to the starting line. They  said "set" and then they stopped like 3 times. It was kinda annoying. Once we started we got out way fast and I was kinda nervous cuz it was faster than normal but I knew I had to stay on the group or I would never ever catch back up. I pushed up to the front of our pack so I would stay on and I felt way good once I got there. We stayed as a pack for a while and I kept yelling Stuff cuz it made me feel better and stronger. The pack fell apart in the middle/end and me and Caroline kept switching leads and it really helped me. After the hill I didn't push like I should have. A lot of people passed me at the end, including rylee at the last turn. I was 3rd on the team and my time was 20:00. Overall a solid race for the whole team. Our team was 3rd behind Davis and AF. 

Cool to time then like 10 extra minutes with Mitch and Logan to find art things for ceramics

 Went to the state course for a workout, it was way fun to get to know the new course. I really liked it, it's different but good. We ran the course forward. Then at the end, we turned around and did the work out backwards. We had 1,2,3 min fartleks with 2 minutes recover between each and 2 sets. My legs are tired, but I stayed on the group for the most part for all except for one I really fell off a lot. I kept coughing a lot today which was no Bueno. But oh well. Overall a Great workout and I'm soooooo excited for state!!!

Am- easy ac. Felt real good.

Pm- Scary start of our run. Roberts passed out into a bush and it was scary. The boys were calling 911 and then he got up. and I hope he is ok. Then we ran to downtown Washington and turned to go to firestation. We started our pickup and all of a sudden a 10% rain and 90% dust storm came and it really hurt. Then it stopped like 2 minutes later and we had a great rest of the run. We went 8.26 miles and then striders so 9.26 total. It was an eventful run

Am- 30 min easy 

Pm- 60 minutes easy. We had 3(1000, 600 w/ 2 min recovery) 5 min recover between sets. It was a way solid workout. I felt super awesome. Best workout in a while. My legs weren't even super tired from the long run like normal AND I stayed with the front group the whole time. We had a real good pack the whole time and it was a great run. I learned that I also dont know how to add, so I probably should get on that.

Am- 30 easy green springs. It was a weird change and a wierd morning 

Pm- 30 easy on the grass. Way awesome. We had a football and the freshman took it. Josh is the real MVP and brought it back to us

AM- 30 green springs. It was thrilling Thursday today and Brianna and Caroline told some "thrilling" stories 

PM- 56 minutes, 5.9 miles. We had sand hills today at the one and only sand hill. It was a good workout. My legs were tired but I tried really hard to stay on the group and I did! I made it to the top where Roberts was all the times but once. It was a hard and a good workout. Then weights.

Pm- we had 25 minutes + 4x200's. Way fun run. I felt way good. We went to sanburgs and I stayed in for 200's real good

Drove on the bus to canyon view and convinced coach to let us watch the varsity girls race. They did so good and won.  Then Meskerem, Alli, Me, Caroline, Ellie, Jacey, and Rylee ran to the region course and did a workout. We did 2(1,2,3 min fartleks w/ 2 min recovery.) it was really good and we had nice packing. We also practiced situations. There were lots of soccer people at the course. Then we ran back and it was a fun run

Am- 70 minutes total. 65 long run with 2(1,2 min pickups) 4 min regular pace between each.  Felt way good! So happy it was in the morning. Best long run yet! 8.5 miles total

Pm- 30 easy arctic circle. Way fun, we had a good talk by the neon spider tunnel

Am- 30 easy ac 3.5 miles 

Pm- 60 minutes 4x1000's at middle school way solid workout. The last 300's were supposed to be faster. We did alright the first 2 but the last ones we stepped up and did really good. It felt way good. I was in the pack/front most of the time. We pushed really strong together. Then we had 3 wave hill sets. I totally biffed it down the last hill on the first one. It was kinda funny

Am- easy ac before we left for Idaho

Pm- drove up to the state course to do a workout with the varsity girls. We warmed up the last part of the course then did 1,2,3,2,1 with 2 min recovery.  It was way good workout and we stayed packed really good. 

Went to watch the rest of our team at nebo. Shout out to addi for writing us really nice notes. Also, I'm excited for bob firman this week

Am- 30 easy at rylees grandparents. It was a very fun trail run 

Pm- 28 minutes at the Bob firman course. We did some pickups, and a practice start. It is a dope course and I am way excited!!

We warmed up and I was nervous to race, I haven't been really nervous this year yet until this race. We went over to start, and I felt really good. We started and we got out really strong, I hung in with the group until going up the hill the first time. Meskerem took off and I tried to stay on Jacey and Caroline. I didn't push the 2nd mile like I should have. I just sat, which was very dumb. About going into the 3rd mile I tried to refocus and get back into it. I was a little behind Jacey and I could see her and I gained a little but didn't go enough. I ended 5th on the team and my time was 20:01. Not the best race, but good. Definitely room to improve. We ended 5th overall Great Oak, AF, Davis and Bozeman were the teams in front of us.

Am- 30 easy

Pm- mile repeats. We did 3x1600. We did 10 seconds faster than goal race pace, 15 seconds slower, and 5 second s faster than goal. It was overall a great workout! I stayed well in the pack and I didn't fall off! We hit the times real solid and it was fun. The cool down was very slow

Am- 30 min easy 

Pm- 15 minute tempo at 7:15 pace. Then we had 10x 100/100 at as fast as you can go, then at float pace. It was a very hard workout but I felt soooo good!! I held it out really good in the 100's I stayed with Meskerem for the first few, she would go harder on the fast part and I would catch her on the float. I kept it really strong and I felt great. and I just felt overall good :)
