4.7 miles on the Middleton trail with the Ellie, Addi, Scottie and my Dad. We turned off on a different trail than normal. It was a lot of fun! I felt very good today! It has just been a good Christmas break full of good runs!

.5 mile warmup and other warmup stuff. Then 30 minutes/3.2 miles on the turtle trail. Felt sooo great to be back and fun to see some new people out runnin! Can't wait for this season, it will be legendary.

We went to lake Powell and there was literally no road by where we were so we ran in the sand and on the rock. It was the hardest run of my life, but it was pretty fun. We ran up a lot of  deep Sandhills and it was very hard. 35 minutes total and 3.4 miles

We moved the houseboat to a better spot and there was a road by  we moved the houseboat to a better spot and there was a road by it it made out of sand.  So that made for a much better run than  yesterday. Me Ellie Addi Maycee and my Dad all ran together. It was hard and sandy, but pretty good. It wasn't too hot, because it was overcast, so that was good. I had a real good time at lake Powell except the fact that my arms are sooooo sore from kayaking so much, but it was so worth it :) 40 minutes/4 miles

Today we met at sullivan and we ran the trail. it was loads of fun. we had a great group and the fast finish was really good! it felt really great to get the legs moving. we had 45 minutes total and 5.36 miles.

Did our warm ups and core stuff and then we went on the absolute scariest run of my whole life. We did a 20 minute warm and then we did a 25 minute tempo on the dirt mile. It was lightning and thundering really a lot and one time I sware the lighting was surrounding us and the thunder was really loud, and I thought we were dead!

Besides the Lightning, our run was real good! We got 8 miles/65 minutes. Me, Ry, Jace, and Addi were our pack today! We stayed really grouped the whole time. We started at about a 7:30 pace and worked down. Me and Jace did the whole 25 and it was really beast! I felt so good once I got over the fact that we weren't really gonna die. Then we cooled to time

Today was a grass run, so we went 15 minutes on the road and 15 on the grass. Then we did striders. 35 total/4.6 miles. It felt way good. A little fast, but it was fun :) 

Then we had kids club. I joined the 7/8 boys and it was a blast and a half. 

Weights at 3:00. They we beast. Me and Ry were partners and I am gonna be sore tomorrow, I can already feel it :)

45 minutes in the morn with the ladies and roberts. It was really good! We ran to lower grapevine. It felt way good. And I learned that I can ponytail and braid my hair while running, so that's a great accomplishment.

Good to be back at practice. Today we met at pine view park and ran. I ran 40 minutes with the ladies. Most of the time it was me, Alli, Ry and Maycee and a few others who flipped earlier. It was pretty fun! Then we did striders. And since yesterday was supposed to be a longer run and I only went 45, I went 15 more minutes today after striders to make it longer. It felt pretty good!

Went camping with Macey and we got back at like 7. Then I went to dinner with my parents in Zion, because they picked me up and didn't take me home. I didn't run until 9:00. Nonetheless, it was delicious food followed by a pretty good run with my dad on the bike. We had a good chat. 50 minutes and 5.5 miles

Then we went through the turf farm and stole some water from prestons hose. We had 4x1:00 minute pickups. I have magical brain power I found out, cuz I guessed the distance we were gonna go- 8.3 miles/75 minutes

50 minutes easy. We ran to Middleton and back to the elementary, but we didn't go out very far and we had to add on 15 minutes. It was a pretty good, but tiring run. 5.75//50 minutes.

Today was a 50 minute hilly run. Most of the time it was Me, Ell, Add and Maycee Hayes. It was a pretty great run! Watch out for Maycee, cuz she's gonna give all the varsity runners a run for their money. She's a beast and works so hard! I felt way good today! Hills are definitely my fave thing about running. They feel so good! Also, shout out to Ellie for staying with me and roberts up the big hill. It was a though hill and she is speedy 51 minutes//5.75

Today we met at a park that I cannot currently remember the name of. It was by the Dixie center. It was a really good park with soft grass. Also, Byron was there cuz he just got off the mission. The bike trails were really fun to run on. We had a decent sized group at the beginning, but, me, El, Caroline, and Roberts completed the loop. It was a very good run. I felt super awesome! 5.4 miles on the loop in 45 minutes. Then 6 striders. Total mileage is 6.15//50 minutes

Me, El, Addi, Maycee, and Caroline met at a church on Bluff street and ran to chuckwalla. My knee felt super wierd on the trail, and so I flipped and Caroline came with me and we just ran on the path by the road. It was a pretty good run, except for the knee part. I iced it really a lot and it losened up a lot as the day has gone on, so that's pretty stupendous. 5.9 miles//55 minutes

Wow. Today was such a great run! We went 86 minutes//10 miles. We went up into greensprings and we had 5x1:00 pickups and they felt so good! This was the best, and longest long run I have done and I enjoyed it a lot! We also had a real big group today! People were finally back it town. It was a great run! :)

Wow today was the best run ever!! We had a 15 minute warm up to the dirt mile. Then we had a 25 minute tempo! It was so good! No one fell off of our group and we all stayed together the WHOLE time! We all encouraged each other and just had a good run. I wanted to try staying In the back of the pack because sometimes it's super hard for me to hang on back there, but now i know that I can do it! Ah, seriously the best workout ever. I enjoyed every minute of it! Then, we cooled down. 61 minutes//7.2 miles

am- Today I struggled a little. I was just feelin really eh. I feel bad, because i wasn't even trying to be positive, which I should have been at least trying to do. 61 minutes//6.5 miles

pm- i couldn't go to practice because I had to work. I was accidentally really dumb 3 weeks ago and scheduled for today forgetting that we were gonna start pm practice, and I couldn't change it. So alas, I missed. But i will not do that again! I ran 15 minutes by myself. I found 32¢, so that was cool. Now I can participate in 32¢ Tuesday next week!  15 minutes// 1.7 miles

Yay. You posted. Hope things are going well. Since it seems like many of you are slow to bounce back from last week, maybe you should emphasize 1) good sleep, 2) proper nutrition, and 3) honest pace on normal distance days. If 3 doesn't happen, it's because 1 and/or 2 aren't happening. I can't wait to run with you guys again.

Wow! That was one hill of a run! We stayed at the lagoon campground last night (not really a camp ground, more like a park), and we ran up all the uphill roads until we kind of got out of the neighborhoods. Then we ran up this road that very much reminded me of our uphill run at camp. It was verrrrrry long and hard, but it was real fun 60 minutes//6.6 miles

Lagoon was loads of fun today too!

30 minutes when I got home from the conference. It is was soooo hot! I think I almost died. I just ran by myself and it felt pretty good to just think. I then went to Tarzan at Tuachan with mi madre. Left our house at 4:30 to get to enterprise. I was so tired, cuz we stayed up so late on Friday from tuachan, plus I slept very little at my camp, so it was all just added up. When we got there, we warmed up and then got on the bus that took us up to the start. Me and Ellie ran together the whole way. There was literally no one else there to compete with. We probably could have skipped and still would have won. We started way slow. Like 7:30 pace for the first mile and then built up the next to miles. They were like 6:35ish. It felt good and like I coulda gone way faster. Our time was approximately 21 minutes. Cooled down 35 minutes. 60 minutes//6.5ish miles  

Props to me for taking 3 naps today. It was pretty swell and very well needed

10.25 miles//90 minutes. That was one of the hardest runs for me to get going today. But once we got up the hill to highland park I felt way good. We did 1,1,2,1,2 pickups and it felt pretty swell. Caroline shared some encouraging thoughts today. And it was soo good to see her again! It's literally been a month since I have seen her and it felt nice to have a big crew to run with today! I love our team and we are gonna be so beast! Shout out again to Maycee H for having the most positive attitude I have ever seen. She is gonna do great things!

We started with A 15 minute warm-up to the bathroom and down this trail and back.  Then we went back to the park,  did a 10 minute tempo before our time trial. I was kind of confused at first why we did the tempo before, but it really helped me during the race! I was super warm, and I just felt  really good! We started the race, and we had a really good pack.   We switched leads really good the 1st mile, and it gave me the chills to see all the girls together!  The lastish .75 of a mile, we were a little bit more spread out, but I could still hear the other girls behind me. With about 400 m left,  we were supposed to open up a little bit more. I felt really good, and feel like I did a pretty good job with that part.  I finished with a 12:55, Caroline with a 13:05, Jacey and Ellie with a 13:08, and then Jessica and Rylee and Addi really close behind that. It was a real good race and I had a lot of fun! Shout out to Jessica for being awesome and keeping going even after she threw up :). Cool 17 minutes to time. 55 minutes total//6.5ish miles

20 minutes//2.25 miles with ell. It was H O T!!!!! But it was a pretty good run!

8K pace w/4 min rec, cool to time. decent workout today. Times

were a little slow. I was supposed to be at just under 5 for the

1200. And 6:40 for the 1600. I mostly ran with Caroline the first 2.

Then I ran with Jessica the 3rd, and the last by myself. It was hot

as day at that discusting park! I just about sweated to death. It

was so humid. 7.5ish miles//65 minutes 

 

25 minutes easy at camp! It was legendary. 2.5

60 minutes//6ish miles. So we ran down this real real long hill for 15 minutes. I twisted my ankle again it hurt real bad, then I got over it and kept going. We had a hill workout. 2 sets of 3x80 second hills. I led the first 1. Then I pushed from the back on next 3. It felt good! The 5th one I got to lead again, so that felt good. The last one I went all out and it felt so good! Best hill for last :) I <3 hills and running 

Then we did skits. They were pretty funny

61 minutes//7.2 miles good medium run down the river trail. Me and Caroline and Rylee somehow are blonde, and didn't do the first pickup. So we did it after everyone else. I felt pretty good, but a little tired. I kinda fell a little behind before the first pickup. Hence the reason I missed it. 

15 minutes//1.65 miles. Good easy run with ell.

30 minutes//3.25 miles. Very eventful run. Little Sarah broke her arm, and we went pretty chill so that felt nice. 8 short striders 

45 minutes//4.35  very short warmup. Not enough. we didn't take into consideration that girls always have to pee before a race. I never got nervous for this race so that was good. And we got to the line and I just felt good! We started solid, but not too fast and worked up. We had a decent pack the first lap, and got a little smaller as we went. We did pretty well, but have lots of improvement :) real good start to the year! Our team is the best :) 19:14 was my time. Pretty similar to last year I believe.

i20+ warm cuz we did so many darn strides waiting for the race to start. We sang lots too so that was fun. Really calmed my nerves. We started and I wanted a decent position, but I didn't wanna go out wayyy to fast, after the first lap I got up with ry and Jess so that was good. Stayed with em until going up the last, long hill and started to fall off a little (that hill is a killer even though it seriously looks like nothing) I was starting to give up in my head a little at the last, but I forced myself that I was gonna get Mic by the end, and I didn't even let myself give up. I passed her!! And that was a miracle in itself, cuz I kicked!!  I think if I didn't yell at my head to go and get her, trinity woulda came and got me and we woulda tied with the hells, but we edged em out this time!! 54-52 so that was also pretty swell! First team win of the season! 3rd on the team 4th overall. 18:49 was the time which made my day cuz I haven't been under 19 since sophomore year so that is DOPE! 

Also, shout out to Caroline for going the wrong way, turning around and still winning the JV race. That takes some serious talent.  Also to Jess cuz she is a beast

Pm- 15 minute warm cuz we had to take out our spikes in the middle. Got to the line and all of a sudden they shot the gun when no one was paying attention. We got out decent still. I felt pretty good at the first, I was just trying to stick on the two Davis girls in front of me. Going up the big hill in the secondish mile, I passed both of them and it gave me a good burst of energy. I closed the gap on Caroline, and was going to get her, and then we were going up the big hill and I shoulda kicked just a little bit harder at the end going up it and over the top. I ended 4th on the team with a 17:49 and we got 3rd overall so that was dope. My fave race yet! Cooled for 20. 53 minutes//5.5miles

I am making this partially up, cuz I forgot my watch. 15ish minute warm and 5x100 strides. Then we started the time trial. It was alright. My belly felt really sick, it kinda felt weird all day, but way worse when we ran. It was a decent run tho. My time got faster, which was good. I thought it was gonna be way slower. 12:33 was approximately my time. I was 5th on the team. Then we ran around for like 10 more minutes looking for Jess so we would do our workout. Then we just ended up doing the first repeat cuz we couldn't find her. 3x600's at pace and each one 3 seconds faster. They were all  decent. 2:29,2:26,2:24 cooled for like 10 minutes     55 minutes//6 miles

55 minutes at bob Firman. Not our best race ever as a whole but it was a real good time. I ran a 19:25 (a 35 second pr) and I also was 40th place. We started at got out real bad from the start. We were right by the flags and we got shoved right to them. I should have been more aggressive and I sat for a little too long. i felt like I was really moving by the end. Overall a decent race. Much to learn, but much fun!

17 minute warmup with a small tempo. Race at cedar. Then we started the race, I was struggling a little in the beginning with getting going. I was trying to go, but it wasn't happening real good. After the first little bit I was starting to get with it. The first lap after I got going was pretty decent. The middle of the 2nd lap I was struggling and I kept clapping in my head to make my legs move, and it was helping a little. The 3rd lap was very hard for me, but coach told me to get around this group of 3 girls and I did and it helped me get going. Going onto the track lily was right in front of me and I passed her AND She didn't repass me so that was good! Although it wasn't my best race that I feel I could have raced, I still got 45 seconds faster than the first of the year, and set a new pr for myself of 18:32. (On a longer course) so there were still some real good things! Much better of a race than my rest of the week of running so that was good also. I was 12 place overall and 5th on the team. We destroyed our record team time on the course and it is now a longer race. So that is also very good. Our 1-5 spread was very good too. 31 seconds which was one of our better spreads.

Ran 30 minutes with Ellie, addi and Martha. Twas a good last run. I'm so bummed cuz I was starting to feel good about running right when then the stupid wisdom teeth had to come out. It was quite eventful. I started screaming when they took mine out and yelling that it hurt a lot. And then Ellie almost died. She started throwing up and choking and couldn't breathe so my dad was tryin to help her breathe And I had to run up the stairs to get the doctor when I was still sadated and I was seeing triple. So who knows how I even got up there ok. But I did. But it ended up ok and we are both alive and my mouth doesn't hurt yet. my tongue has been numb for 9 hours. And I can't sleep cuz I took a nap. Ellie's recovery will be worse than mine cuz her wisdom teeth were a lot more formed than mine. Mine were barely there. The end

Yay! Got to run today finally! Super happy with it! It was wayyyyyy better than I thought. I didnt even feel horrible! 30 minutes total. It wasn't the full minutes, but it was a start! Ran with Ellie and my mom and Macey. I had to go to the bathroom so I booked it home the last 3 minutes and I got going pretty darn fast (at least faster than I have ran in a LONG time)
