Since Conference is over, practice is on our own til Friday. Most people are taking a couple days off if they raced at conference. Probs will take off Monday and Tuesday but we’ll see

another day of nothing. super wierd.

last night me and max and christian and alison and nate played this game called munchkin and it took soooooo long and they wouldnt let me leave til we were done so i slept on alisons floor for 20 minutes in between my turns lol. it was a good time. i have 0 patience for long games, actually most things.

yayayay i ran today! 4 whole miles with alison. we just chatted and ran and it was good. i felt like we were going wayyyyyy slow but we were going 7:30 pace which isnt bad. felt good to get out even though it was only a two day break lol. ready for outdoor!!!

planning on, 6 the next two days, 8 saturday and then back up to full mileage next week rotating 8/9. 

i went on a d8 last night and it was a very good time. 

also the walmart photo center will not work for some reason so i had to order pictures from costco and meet my dad half way.

last night i went to sams for movie night and i fell asleep like 2 minutes in and slept the whole time and i didnt want to go home after so i stayed at her house and me and her and nicole all shared a bed and it was actually super comfy haha.

anyways, ran with sam when we woke up and it was cold and windy and my head hurt, but other than that it was actually a good run. we were definitely going a decent pace so thats dope.  

We had a team meeting today at 2:00 just to talk about stuff and coach houle is seriously so funny. i like him alot.

also happy birthday to paul yesterday

also im so pumped for outdoor. like so pumped

Wellll, I'm not complaining, im just.... complaining.  Lets just say today was definitely not the best workout ever. it was the first day back since conference and We had a 2 mile warm, 4x400, 4x200, 8x100, which doesnt sound bad, and ive done it before and really liked the workout alot. So i thought today would be good, but it was so unbelievably windy. i have never actually thought i was going to blow away until today- like for reals. My legs were so tired and heavy, and all the great workouts ive been having made me very discouraged cuz today was not one of those days. 

I know its partially my own fault, cuz i havent been great at sleeping this week, or drinking alot of water or eating super healthy cuz i tend to slack a little when we dont have organized practice. i also dont think it helps that i took a couple days off and only did easy runs, cuz sometimes it takes me a sec to get back to the speed- hopefully thats just the case.  

And to top it off, apparently my form sucks so bad that i now get to do this super sloowwwww robotic walk alllll the way around the track after every practice now, which honestly takes like 20 minutes. On a normal day, this probs wouldnt have discouraged me, its just been a long one. 

On the bright side tho, Cam Levins is in Cedar for like a month and he told me good job (which was a lie) but ill take it cuz an olympian told me good job so thats cool.

7.5 with alison in the awful wind once again. at one point i think we were probably going like 14 minute pace and i was trying so hard haha, it was a hard run but it was fun. after we went to tropial smoothie and got smoothies.
